Meet Payte on the Road
Hey, I’m Payte, a British-Columbia native, now living in the French part of Canada, Quebec City. I am working full-time in my husband’s construction company, mother of 2 kids, and am an adventure seeker.
Former flight attendant, I changed from a career that I loved and made me travel the world to a career in finance to be more present at home. This change has been good for the entire family but I do miss the traveling part a lot.
Traveling is my passion. A big dream of mine would be to travel the world along with the whole family in a van, experiencing different cultures, food, way of life, and so on.
I decided to embark on a blogging journey to share my road trip knowledge with you and maybe inspire you to live a fulfilling life that makes you happy every day. I realize I am not traveling all year round but I hope to inspire you to live to the fullest and make an adventure out of everything you do, experiencing the world one adventure at a time even if it means a little getaway every once in a while.

Even though I haven’t seen all this world has to offer, I am passionate about everything related to travel and especially road trips.
As of now, I have traveled to 19 countries. In some countries, I have been multiple times. I’ve traveled alone, with my husband, and with my kids, on all-inclusive vacations, road trips, wild camping, RV camping, and van living. This makes me very versatile in what trips I can organize.
I’ve crossed Canada multiple times and lived in different provinces, I’ve been to the United States, South Africa, Mauritius, Seychelles, Australia, France, Monaco, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Vatican City, Cuba, Barbados, Mexico, Ireland, Jamaica, the United Kingdom, Sint-Maarten, and Antigua & Barbuda with still many more ahead of us.
